Villa Beaumarchais - Paris

The staff were obliging and kind! The location of the hotel was great and brilliant - just a pleasant stroll away from The Centre Pompidou.

The location near the Place De Vosges was ideal for me and size of the room was pretty good for a reasonable Paris Hotel - I also liked the cleanliness of the bathroom and comfortable bed...

Housekeeping sprays 'air freshener' or perfume in the hallways - which I'm sensitive to - left a note to not spray in the room and it worked!

Room and bathroom were good size, lobby was nice as was orangerie

Bar never open. Air conditioning very poor. Surprise city tax added on at 7 euro per room.

good location to discover the Marais, but also to get to other tourist attractions easily. quiet, clean but too small rooms for a 4 star hotel with comfortable bathrooms.

Staff is mostly unfriendly and not sufficiently customer oriented. Moreover, the breakfast is vastly overpriced at 14.50€ per person. as a result, not many guest take breakfast in the hotel, making the whole gastronomic side of the hotel pretty uninviting and quite dead.

We had a very pleasant stay for 4 nights in Villa Beaumarchais. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Everything went really nice & easy. Good location - quiet, but still in a walking distance from most of the "hot spots".

Hugely overpriced, for a perfectly nice but tiny room

Great quiet room with lovely courtyard view, but Wi-Fi was a bit spotty.

The staff were courteous, efficient and helpful. I had a problem with my initial booking and they were flexible and understanding in accommodating my request. Value for money it was excellent and space wise it was really good for a hotel in central Paris.

Location was excellent. Room was very clean. Staff were very helpful. Size of room was good (well relative to Paris standards)

Air conditioning was broken during our visit when the weather was very warm!

Tranquil internal courtyard

The aircon was out in the entire hotel and had been for "a while" (member of staff) and was not working when we left 4 days later. THe extractor fan did not work in our bathroom; we notified the staff of this within the first hour of our stay; this was not fixed either. Probably this had not been working for a while either since there was mould in the bathroom on the ceiling and tiles.

Curiosity got me

A good stay on a quiet street! The room, while small, had wonderfully comfortable beds. The breakfast area was fine, and the staff were pretty good, responding promptly to a bouquet mishap with grace. Near two metro lines, this spot is perfect for exploration. Just a tad outdated in decor, but the charm still shines through!

The key system...keys left in box at reception..the safe didnt work...no donot disturb signs...the carpet looks dirty... The staff were okay but the fellow on the weekend was not helpful

property was well-organized, with amazingly attentive staff and easy location in the center of marais. coffee, slices of fresh bread, jam, fruit and eggs in the mornning in cafe. carbonated drinks at honesty bar, very good service. efficient check-in.

The staff were very informative and helpful - giving directions, suggestions for best metro routes, booking a taxi to the airport....

The air conditioning system was not working and we were promised fans but they never materialized in the 3 days we were there. As a compnsation, we were offered free bottled water but I think there could/should have been a reduction in price.
